Fundamentals of OSH

Fundamentals of OSH is a compulsory e-learning course for all 1st year BA and MA students.

Irrespective of whether a student has already received training at a first degree programme or at another university, a student admitted to the first year at UAM is required to pass the Fundamentals of OSH.

It is not possible to 'rewrite’ credit.
If student has been re-admitted to the first year of study (and has passed the Fundamentals of OSH previously) he/she is required to take the course once again for credit.

Students are required to familiarise themselves with the materials on the Moodle platform. After familiarisation with the materials, a selection test consisting of 20 questions must be passed. The questions for each student are selected randomly from the question database and arranged in a random order.

The test is passed when 11 correct answers are given to 20 questions. The result of the test is automatically calculated by the system. If a student does not pass the test in the first attempt, he/she is entitled to one additional attempt.

Credit information for the course will be automatically uploaded to the USOS system.

Schedule for students starting their studies from the winter semester 2024/2025:

  1. Logging in to the Moodle platform and starting Health and Safety Training – from November 18, 2024;
  2. Solving the test (first and second attempt) – from November 18, 2024 to March 2, 2025;
  3. After passing the test, the passing information will be sent automatically to the USOSweb system.

How do I log in to health and safety training?

  1. Please visit the website: https://szkoleniebhp.amu.edu.pl
  2. Logging in to the Fundamentals of OSH is carried out in the same way as logging in to your USOS account (login: PESEL number or login received from the university, password: USOS password).
  3. After logging in, you will need to read the materials and solve the test. You will pass the test if you answer 11 of the 20 questions correctly.
